Treasure hunt
Here's a treasure hunt or Web Quest to introduce you to some of the ressources
on the Internet. Follow the links and report back what you find. Use the
questionnaire - follow the instructions to
put it in Word and click back and forth as you find the answers.

The
weather: Check-out the weather and write a short sentence
to summarize the forecast for tomorrow.

The
news: a) What are the Canadian headlines of
the newspaper for today, b) compare the forecast with the one from link
#1. (Are the forecasts the same or different, warmer or colder?)

Looking for ...a kitten: No, No, Find an image of an elephant but make
sure it's not too big! (Right click on the image and choose Save as to
put it on your diskette. Then in Word, choose Insert image - From file
and add the image you had saved.) The Basics

sports scores: Give the scores of 3 games played yesterday and the
name of one player featured in an article.

A
little quiz: Give 2 examples of the quizzes.

little adventure: What happens if you go north to the river ?

Let's
travel: What destination is featured on the Destinations

Classifieds:
Look up in the classified ads " for sale Montreal " and copy an interesting
one to the questionnaire.

words to that song: Include the lyrics to one of your favorite
songs. (The Basics)

Tune
in to Baywatch: Check
out the biographies and include 3 facts about one of the stars in your
treasure chest. Don't spend too much time on the pictures, you're not finished
yet!

The
movies Name four movies that included in the New Movie
Reviews section.
Select
and copy the following into a new Word document and save it,
complete and review your answers, then save them, print them
(to be safe) and attach the file to an e-mail.
