Book Report: Aims 1 |
1. Personal goals.
What are my goals when I write a book report?
First, I wish to get the best mark of my class while gaining knowledge from a reading.1 Second, I want to prove to my teacher or to whomever my readers will be that I have read the selected book and that I can dissert on it easily and show the contribution of the author on a subject-matter. Third, I intend to expose that I have acquired proper research methods and skilful writing processes. Fourth, I expect to continue to train myself to appreciate and evaluate the books I read and to discuss them intelligently with other people. But most of all, I need to learn as much as possible from what books have to offer and therefore expand my general knowledge and find inspiration for the future as I get to develop a lifetime reading habit.2
