Abstract

Web News Editorials is a scenario written for the students and the teachers of English as a Second Language, of the secondary level, second cycle, secondary IV and V. This scenario is based on the programs of both the "Ministère de l'éducation, Loisirs et Sports" of Québec and of the International Baccalaureate Organization.

This scenario contains the following parts:

• Information for the students and the teachers are given in their respective pages.
• The links refer to news agencies and newspaper sites in Canada, the United States, the United Kingdom and Ireland.
• The activities can be performed by answering to questions on a specific news editorial.
• A glossary allows easy reference to commonly used newspaper terms.
• A bibliography follows for academic research.
