The Teachers' Scenario 1

1. The purpose of this scenario is to have the students do some written comprehension and written production to achieve some "English as a Second Language" program objectives.
2. This scenario can be used by one student alone or by the whole class working on the same city web site.
3. Another option would be to divide the class into small groups of students visiting different cities of a same country.
4. The scenario can be done on a city site as an exercise one day or as a test on another city site another day.
5. The time required to go through the web site and to do the proposed activities may be of about two hours.
6. The students must do the activities of written comprehension and written production in the log.
7. An oral account of the students' production may be given to the group after the computer session.
